Sutton Maddock vehicle rental takes its name from the small hamlet of Sutton Maddock just to the south of what is now the centre of Telford.

Located at the Old Forge, Sutton Maddock roundabout is opposite the Shell petrol station, at the junction of 4 roads linking Bridgnorth in the south to Telford in the north, with Shifnal to the north east and the start of what is locally known as the ‘rabbit run’ to Dudley and the Black Country.

Founded in the 1970’s by Graham Spickernell to meet the needs of local businesses investing in Telford and the surrounding area, Sutton Maddock has forged strong business relationships with many leading companies in the area.

It was only natural that private hire customers appreciated the modern vehicles and the customer service that comes naturally to Sutton Maddock, such that by simple word of mouth, the business grew.

We are still a family run business today, with two generations of the family involved in the day to day running of Sutton Maddock vehicle rental. What possibly marks us out from our competitors is that we really do care about our customers and take enormous pride in being recognised as being really good at what we do.

Not that we are standing still. This year sees a huge change in our development, with on-line booking, a new website, fresh now livery and the latest vehicles making the Sutton Maddock rental fleet one on the newest around.

So, perhaps its not surprising that we are recognised as being ‘first choice for van rental’ after all, that’s what we do.
