Private hire

All of our vehicles are available for private hire and all at very competitive rates. Drivers must be over 21 and have held a full driving licence for 24 months. For 7 seater minibuses drivers must be over 25 years of age. For larger mini-buses, trucks and vehicles over 7.5 tons, an operators licence may be required.

Open seven days a week

Great weekend deals available from Friday PM to Monday AM, or if you just need a vehicle for one day at a weekend we are open on Sundays for pick-up and returns.

Insurance

All our insurance rates are fully comprehensive and competitive. Drivers may be insured by Sutton Maddock with a minimum excess of £250 in the case of damage (more for vehicles over 7.5 tons) or select collision damage waiver at the rates applying at the time of hire. Alternatively, drivers may use their own insurance if preferred, providing this is acceptable to Sutton Maddock.

Excess Protection Insurance is now available for complete peace of mind when hiring any vehicle. For a minimum deposit of £100 we can cap your liability for total piece of mind.

Vehicles are cleaned and checked before they are hired, supplied with a full tank of fuel and provided with operating instructions where applicable.

Don’t forget that you can hire load straps, trolleys and even a SatNav if you need one.

On-site parking

Drivers are welcome to leave their own cars in our secure yard if this makes it easier for you to collect and return the hire vehicle. Finding us is easy, we’re located at the Sutton Maddock round about, opposite the Shell petrol station, see the map for details.
